Many photographers get the image they want and then they leave. At other times, when it does not seem as if the elements are going to cooperate, many photographers simply leave early. I do not leave when I have the image I want, nor do I leave when the weather seems to deliberately sabotage photographers (unless there is really, REALLY no hope). Conditions can change. Such change can produce nice image; you just have to wait longer. Landscape photographers need patience to be successful.

Yet, I did not leave after getting this image. I waited even longer and this was the result:

Was the wait worth it? I would like to think so. The scene gave me two images with different moods and atmospheres. Wait just a bit longer. See what the conditions are doing. You never know what can happen and you may just end up with two nice images rather than one, or one rather than nothing.

          Be out there and stay out there until the show is really over.
